Artist Statement

Bente Tas (1999) is a Dutch conceptual & documentary photographer. Through long term projects she explores the relationship between photography and story-telling. The starting point of her projects are based upon a personal relationship and curiosity she has for her subjects, often related to history. Her work is best described as a mixture of research with an observend way of photographing.
